MEP Pros has always been the team behind the work. Over time, our plumbing, leak detection, and electrical services operated under separate names — but with the same people, standards, and relationships.
Today, we’ve aligned everything under MEP Pros to simplify communication and provide one coordinated partner across all trades.
A quest for change.
It started in 2020 with a simple belief: property management teams deserved better support from the trades they relied on.
Chris Nguyen, the founder and owner of MEP Pros Inc, comes from the property management world. He spent decades on both the leasing and maintenance side, experiencing systems break down, communication fail points, and where service providers tended to fall short of what his community really needed.
First step, plumbing.
MEP stands for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing — that was the vision. We opened our doors as an authorized 1-800-Plumber +Air franchise, stepping into a market of true uncertainty. COVID stress tested every business, but we stayed open, responsive, and committed to getting things done the right way.
That foundation mattered.

Today, a majority of our team comes with property management backgrounds, and it continues to lead the way in how we operate. We understand the pressures, the timelines, the budgets, and the frustration that comes with unreliable service.
From the beginning, we’ve been focused on solving real property management problems — and we’ve been doing it ever since.

As our scope expanded, we noticed a serious, re-occurring issue: hidden leaks wasting water.
Homeowners and property teams were spending money digging, repairing, and excavating, all while clean water continued to leak underground.

Around year four, the communities that trusted us started asking for HVAC support. They didn’t want another vendor, they wanted the same team, the same standards, and the same accountability they had been accustomed to.
So, we added Heating and Cooling services, bringing the “M” of MEP to life. That department took off quickly, and the team has been busy ever since.
